Blackburn Scholarship and County College of Morris

We are pleased to announce that The Friends of the Frelinghuysen Arboretum has formed a partnership with County College of Morris and will be awarding the Benjamin C. Blackburn Scholarship to a student of that institution in 2010.

Tai Chi Classes

Gardeners: Keep yourself limber this winter with Tai Chi! There is a free demonstration on Monday, January 11 from 9:30-10:30. Please call to reserve your place and plan to wear comfortable clothing and flat shoes.


New Winter Hours

We wish to inform you of the new winter hours for general public access:

From December 19, 2009 – April 2, 2010 The Haggerty Education Center is open Monday-Friday from 9am-4:30pm and closed on weekends and holidays except to registrants of scheduled programs.

Gingerbread Wonderland a Huge Success

Gingerbread Wonderland - December 12, 2009

This year's Gingerbread Wonderland closed this afternoon with lots of happy participants. The creations were beautiful, the volunteers were terrific and the staff outdid themselves at making this year's the best ever. Thanks to all for their efforts. The crowds were evidence of the success.
