Exploring Gardens and Green Spaces

Learn about all the great gardens to visit in the Tri-state area from garden historian Magda Salvesen. Ms. Salveson’s book “Exploring Gardens and Green Spaces — From Connecticut to the Delaware Valley” provides the back- ground for her presentation and will give you years of garden touring plans. Magda is a garden and art historian, with extensive teaching experience at the New York Botanical Gardens and the New School University. She currently teaches garden history at New York University. Her publi- cations include Artists’ Estates: Reputations in Trust, and Jon Schueler: A Painter’s Life, both with co-editor Diane Cousineau. She lives in New York — where she is also curator of the Jon Schueler Estate.

As we like to say “So many gardens, so little time!”
