All About Ivy

Last call for IVY with ivy expert Russell Windle this Sunday, February 12. Bring a check or cash to purchase some spectacular cultivars and get them growing for use in containers and hanging baskets this spring.

Ivy is easy to propagate, so bring a friend to the program and if each of you buys a cultivar or two, you will soon double your collection!

In the mood for some arts and crafts?

Are you interested in mosaics and looking for a way to begin? if you would like to create mosaic art for your garden, start small. Meet patient and helpful Instructor Eleanor Parr DiLeo on Saturday, February 18 in her Create Your Own Mosaic Trivet class.

Philadelphia Flower Show

The Phildadelphia Flower Show’s website is up and there are some great talks scheduled for March 8th, the day of our bus trip there. When you need a rest, you can enjoy some of the free talks, such as Garden Magic: Big Ideas for Small Spaces, 10 Ways to Kill a Tree, Colorful Spring Containers and Natural Dying Using Common Plants. Then, it’s back to the show floor and shopping for that mandatory pussy willow! Your bus hosts, Sue and Steve George invite you to register now for this annual treat.

Blackburn Scholarship Tea

Andrea Fillipone’s garden has been featured in magazines and in Anne Raver’s New York Times gardening column. Read about it by clicking here.

Then register for the March 28 Blackburn Scholarship Tea, where Ms. Fillipone is the keynote speaker!
