September is here and with it many wonderful programs here at The Frelinghuysen Arboretum!

Herbal Vinegars

Registration for Herbal Vinegars on Saturday, September 7 will close very soon.

The herb garden was especially bountiful this year and there will be a great selection of flavors and smells to choose from. Register online by clicking here.

Community, Care and Creativity

This program on Sunday, September 8th offers insight into the history of horticultural therapy and the 19th and 20th century architecture which housed mentally ill people. Register online by clicking here.

Beets Me!

Beets are plentiful in your supermarket now. Sample chocolate beet cake, roasted beet salad, pickled beets and more on September 15. Register online by clicking here.

Mid-Autumn Moon Festival

September’s full moon is a special one for Asian communities around the world. Learn why at the Mid Autumn Moon Festival on Sunday, September 22. A special performance by Chinese Theatre Works is the highlight of this program. Register online by clicking here.

Junior Master Gardeners - 2013-14

Do you have a child in Grades 3 through 5 who is interested in the environment, gardening or just like being outdoors? They might enjoy being a Jr. Master Gardener!
