Hats Off to Matilda, Annual Matilda's Tea for Children - February 6th

Return to the childhood of Matilda Frelinghuysen by attending this elegant tea for young and old alike. Fashion is the focus and we'll learn how much has changed in the way we dress for school and for play in the past one hundred years.
Learn how hats helped begin today's environmental movement. Noted fashion historian Barbara Meyer Darlin will demonstrate from head to toe the many, many layers a fashionable woman needs to wear.
All young tea-takers will make a real garden party hat to take home.
Recommended for ages 6 and up with adult.
