Is It Spring Yet?
As I look out the window, I see light snow and gray skies. Quite a difference from our beautiful late Fall days of only a few weeks ago. Well, there is not much we can do about the weather, so let's talk about some nice indoor activities while we await Spring's arrival.
Added Sections for Cooking Classes
Great news!
We have added new, morning sessions to Cynthia Triolo's two winter cooking classes (Jan. 23rd Hearty Winter Soups and Feb. 27th Teabreads and Coffee Cakes). The new sections are from 9:30a to 11:30a.
If you are interested, reserve right away -- these classes book quickly.
Cabin Fever Movie Series
About this time of year, the four walls start closing in and it's "cabin fever" time. If you are looking for a pleasant way to spend a Sunday afternoon, join us for thought-provoking, environmentally-themed movies and some excellent snacks. Perhaps you will be inspired to take a winter walk through the arboretum's grounds before or after the film to shake those couch potato cobwebs away. Movies are shown on the big screen, in the warm and comfortable Haggerty Education Center Auditorium.
