What a neat gift for a daughter or niece!

All About Ivy

If you think of ivy as a container filler or boring ground cover -- think again! Ivy is the STAR on Sunday, February 12. Ivy Society President Russell Windle can answer all your questions and has lots of star-quality cultivars too for sale.

Ivy is easy to propagate, so bring a friend to the program and if each of your buys a cultivar or two, you will soon double your collection!

Resource Section

There is a new fact sheet in our website's Resource section: Plants for Winter Interest. Go to the webpage to get this handy list of plants.

Now is the time to register for winter classes, teas and bus trips! Programs at the Arboretum are many and varied. How to Keep Up With the Arboretum

If you are new to the Frelinghuysen Arboretum, keeping up with all the activities may seem daunting. Here are a few suggestions:

  • Browse our website regularly. We work hard at updating it regularly.
  • Look especially at two sections that change regularly: our Events Page and our News Page. The first provides a detailed listing of programs scheduled for the next few months, including facilities for scheduling and purchasing on-line. The second contains brief news items about what is going on at the Arboretum.
  • Become a member -- one of the many benefits is a regular newsletter, Arboretum Leaves available either in paper or pdf. See below for link.
  • Sign up for our regular email newsletter.
