The Frelinghuysen Arboretum is one of New Jersey's largest horticultural parks, owned and operated by the County of Morris. Its buildings and grounds offer a glimpse into the Gilded Age of Morristown, NJ.

The volunteer group, The Friends of The Frelinghuysen Arboretum, plans and sponsors a wide array of programs and events throughout the year at the Arboretum. We hope that your visit will be enjoyable for everyone in your party and so have these tips for expanding your experience:

  • Hours - time and days of operation.

Hours

Grounds - 9:00a to Dusk daily

Haggerty Education Center - 9:00 am to 4:30 pm every day of the week (except holidays). It is also open for participants in scheduled events at other times.
