Plant Sale Planning Begins
As most of you well know, the Friends Annual Plant Sale is a really big event, featuring thousands of exquisite, collectible plants, dozens of roving Plant Experts and, for members attending the Members-only Party and Sale Friday evening, lots of good food and drink together with first-choice of the plant material. The dates are Friday, April 30th for the Members-only Party and Saleand Saturday May 1st for the Public Plant Sale.
Well, the Plant Sale Committee has lots to do to get ready (think of selecting and ordering the plants, planning the catering, organizing the raffle, etc.) and so has begun its work. The Plant Sale Page is alive and has its first posting, including a nice video of past plant sales. Be sure to let me know what you think of the video (webmaster@arboretumfriends.org) -- we hope to do more and want to get them right.
The Co-chairs, Sue Acheson and Ilona Ontscherenki will be adding articles regularly in the coming weeks, so be sure to bookmark the Plant Sale page and check regularly.
