Horticulture Internships at the Arboretum

Horticulture internships are available at the Frelinghuysen Arboretum for the 2010 growing season. Interns participate in all aspects of garden and arboretum management including planting, mulching, watering, weeding, pruning, fertilizing, mowing, propagating and record keeping. Interns rotate through the different specialty gardens and collections and may select an area of concentration. Applicants should possess a keen interest in horticulture and must enjoy physical work outdoors.

Two of our past interns wrote an article about their experiences, which you can read here.
