Information about the Contest:
- Open to all high school students (grades 9-12)
- Judged by three professional photographers: Nancy Ori, Douglas Underdahl, and Bruce Wodder. Click here for more information about them.
- The first place winner in each category will receive a $100 cash prize. The second and third place winners will receive gift certificates to the Sandrian Camera Shop in Morristown, NJ.
- Entries for the contest will be accepted from April 1st-May 31st, 2011.
All Photographs must be submitted by May 31, 2011 at 5:00PM.

- In Person: The Frelinghuysen Arboretum 53 East Hanover Avenue, Morris Township, NJ 07962
- All submitted photos must incorporate plants in some form (see FAQ for more information).
- There will be three separately judged categories: Plants and People, Landscape, and Macro.
- Participants are limited to one entry per category, and each person may only win one prize.
- Each entry must be accompanied by a separate submission form, even if the participant is submitting more than one photograph.
- Photos must be the original work of the participant.
- Open to both film and digital photographs, in black and white or in color.
- Photos may also be digitally enhanced.
- Photos must be printed on 8”x10” photo paper, and matted with an 11”x14” white mat.
- All photographs from the contest will be displayed in the Frelinghuysen Arboretum’s Haggerty Education Center from June 26th 2011 until July 28th 2011.
- A Reception and Awards Ceremony for participants and their families and friends will be held on Sunday, July 10th, 2011.
