On September 6th, join Professional Floral Designer Marge Hulstrunk for floral arranging tips and techniques. Marge will use flowers grown in the Cutting Garden here at the arboretum to put together some beautiful fall arrangements.
So Long to Summer Succulents!
October 4th – Don’t miss the last Potting Shed of the season. Our Scherer Garden winter hardy succulents exhibit will stay, but a boatload of sempervirens will be sailing off to new homes today. Three boatloads to be exact‚Äîcome share the bounty of the SS Climate Change as we disassemble this exhibit. Learn how to propagate these tidy, textural and easy to grow plants.
Reservations are not required. Rain cancels the program.
Cost: Free to observe or a small fee (cash) to participate.
