It became popular in England in the 19th Century when a new variety named 'Victoria' was introduced as a commemorative of Queen Victoria's coronation in 1837. Here are some of the plants to be enjoyed this week. Colorful foliage of the Codiaeum variegatum (Garden Croton), Nepenthes alata (Tropical Pitcher Plant), twin Fuschia flowers, the enormous and very fragrant flower of Magnolia grandiflora cv. Edith Bogue (Southern Magnolia cultivar) and the flowers of a different Fuschia, possibly Fuschia Gartenmeister. Enjoy the photos, or better yet come see the plants and flowers in person!
