The Friends are taking a brief hiatus from programming this summer, but rest assured that we are working on programs for the near future!

MORRIS COUNTY PARK COMMISSION PROGRAM
Art in Bloom - Ages 12 and up

Friday, June 6 and Saturday, June 7
10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Local artists will be showing original paintings accompanied by floral arrangement interpretations of their work. All the artwork will be available for sale.

HOME GARDEN CLUB OF MORRISTOWN PROGRAM
The Language of Flowers in Nature and Art, with Rosemary Shire

Wednesday, June 18 - 1:00 PM

For centuries, flowers in art have had more significance than just a colorful bouquet or pretty arrangement. Master Gardener, Rosemary Shire, will discuss the significance and/or symbolism of flowers in art via a slide presentation covering flowers associated with mythological or religious figures, illustrated through works of art.
