Hi, Lesley –

As you know, big changes are coming to the Ledger. They will be deciding soon whether to continue my columns and in line with this, I am posting them at, where they will once again have a digital presence. It will be really, really important to show there is traffic to my posts.

If you and others in the gardening world would visit, post comments, add to Facebook pages, pin to Pinterest, tweet on Twitter or some combination thereof, it would be of immense value. I hardly ever ask favors, but here I am saying “Please!” The next few months are critical.

Future posts will go up every other Thursday morning (including this week, the 22nd). Readers should also be able to find my posts by entering “Garden Diary” into the home page search box.

All best,

My posts are starting on Please visit

It would be even better if you registered and left comments. To create an account go here And hit “Join” right above the search box. Fill in the form (free) and you’re good to go – you can sign in at the same place with your user name and password. Those with Facebook accounts can sign in using Facebook…or Pinterest…or Twitter.

It will be really, really important to show some traffic to my page as the Ledger decides whether to continue my column.

Thanks in advance for the help!

It should only take a few clicks to show that we care about this writer's future.
