The Friends of Frelinghuysen Arboretum are proud to host dozens of events in the coming weeks, ranging from exhibits to photo classes to tours to informative programs on gardens and horticulture.

Friends 40th Anniversary Party

The Friends of The Frelinghuysen Arboretum's 40th Anniversary Party is coming up soon (Sunday, October 2nd). We have lots of information both on the Events Page and on the 40th Anniversary Page (this includes lots of background details about the speakers, Friends history and the event's delectable menu).

The party is only a few weeks off, so check out all the information in the links above and register now for this wonderful celebration of the Friends of the Frelinghysen Arboretum's 40th Anniversary. Go to the Events page and either print the RSVP form, fill it in and mail with your check, or use the "Add to Cart" buttons on the Events page to register with your credit card on-line.

Yoga for Gardeners

Feeling like a truck ran you over after the hurricane? Stretch out and get strong at our gentle, but effective, yoga classes taught by Nicole Coons, who is both a yoga guru and an avid gardener. Starts Tuesday, September 27th, so sign up now.


Little sisters and brothers don't have to feel left out of the back to school scene! Register now for a sprouts class and give your young ones some nature-based, age appropriate classroom time. Stories, walks and crafts -- they are ready for a nap now! Running now, throughout the fall.

Junior Master Gardeners

After the soccer, ballet and the orthodontist, your tween may need an afternoon of outdoor activities to re-charge their batteries and build their self-esteem. our Junior Master Gardener program may be just the ticket.
