Calling all Family Members!

Have you signed up for Family Day “What’s the Buzz?” yet? It’s a Member Benefit and is free to Members at the Family level and above and it is on Sunday, July 13th.

The day is all about BEES. See a working hive, speak with a beekeeper, play BEE BINGO, make some bee crafts.

Then, enjoy ice cream with honey syrup and a kid-friendly concert by the Levins in our nice, cool auditorium. It’s a perfect program for children of all ages so sign up now!

Matilda's Café

Now that summer is here, remember that Matilda’s Café is open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

You can call ahead to reserve a table or ask for your lunch “to go” and then find a nice shady spot to enjoy your meal.

PT Receptionist Position Open

Our PT weekend Receptionist Susan Swiger will be leaving us next month. We are sad to see her go and wish her well as she begins a new life chapter in Virginia!

Do you know someone who would be interested in working from 9am-4:30pm every other weekend?

The PT Weekend Receptionist’s work is varied, with lots of contact with the public and occasional clerical duties. Applicants for this position, which pays $10.20 per hour and includes free admission to all Friends programs, (except trips) should have customer service experience, flexible schedules, and be computer saavy.

Matilda's Café


Matilda’s Cafe is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday through October from 10am -5pm. Call 973-394-1100 for the menu and to reserve a nice box lunch!

Bring your laptop or tablet – the Café has WIFI! Or, bring a magazine and enjoy your lunch on the Waterwise Deck.
