Top 'o the Summer

It’s high summer and container plantings are exploding at The Frelinghuysen Arboretum.

Here’s a great idea for keeping caladium cool – sink their pots in a pool! These caladium are some of the plant dividends that were gifts to members this past May.

We hope you are enjoying your plant dividend right now!

How are your containers doing?

Coming up this weekend:

Learn to Play Croquet

With the Croquet Team from Rutgers Preparatory School this Sunday, August 2 from 1pm – 4pm. The fun takes place on the Great Lawn. It’s free and no reservations are required.

Tours of the Arboretum

Take place on Sunday, August 2 at 2pm.

Please meet in the lobby of the Haggerty Education Center. These tours focus on seasonal blooms and cost $3 per person, exact change is appreciated.

The Potting Shed

Scheduled for Sunday, August 2 has been cancelled.
