The Human Sundial

Have you seen our new sundial?

It’s located near Bus Parking and is so much fun to try.

Alexandra Levoyer , a Senior at Morris County School of Technology, from Parsippany GS Troop # 80207 created, designed and installed this welcome addition to our grounds.

A Gold Award: The Highest Award in Girl Scouting, this sundial, which uses you as the gnomon, took over 100 hours to complete.

Country Comes to The Frelinghuysen Arboretum

The weather forecast is good, so plan to attend this Friday night’s Cottage Garden Concert.

We think Matilda Frelinghuysen would be well pleased that we are celebrating her life with music and ice cream at Matilda’s Ice Cream Social on Sunday July 17.

Croquet on the lawn, a barbershop quartet, ice cream and period crafts will be waiting for you!
