GROW YOUR GROCERIES: CULINARY HERBS

WHAT’S IN BLOOM:

Dutchmans Pipe! Blooming now on the arbor at the entrance to the Haggerty Education Center.

This vine, Dutchman’s Pipe (Aristolochia macrophylla) is the primary food source for the caterpillars of the Pinevine Swallowtail. Once Pipevine Swallowtails have found a food source you will have these caterpillars — and butterflies — year after year.
