Summer starts tomorrow as these pictures of Oak Leaf Hydrangea (Hydrangea quercifolia), Lady’s Mantle (Alchemilla mollis) lovely with raindrops captured by the fuzzy leaves and Meadow Rue (Thalictrum flavum) with a visiting bee illustrate quite nicely.

11:30a - Monthly Meeting

1:00p Program - Lecture, Marc Zukovich, President of Sterling Horticultural Services and adjunct professor of County College of Morris, will speak about Rhododendron and Azaleas. This talk will cover how to purchase the right varieties for your garden, how to plant them correctly, and how to maintain their health and vigor. Slides will be shown of various cultivars of these beautiful plants.

New Affiliate Member

In July we will welcome a new Affiliate Member: The NE Judging Center of the American Orchid Society.

They will meet monthly on the third Saturday of every month, with an Annual Auction on the Third Saturday of December.

First meeting at The Frelinghuysen Arboretum is scheduled for Saturday, July 21, 2018, 10:30 AM. An Educational Program is scheduled for 12:00 PM on Orchid Judging.

Anyone may bring an orchid to be judged or listen in on the educational programs and/or judging

Please help us welcome this new Affiliate Member!
