The Majestic Gardens of the Southwest of England
We are excited to invite you to join us for the next Friends international trip: The Majestic Gardens of Southwest England.
As we traverse the counties of Wiltshire, Somerset, Devon and Cornwall, we will visit an outstanding mix of public and private gardens; including historic estates, landscape gardens, formal gardens, woodland walks, cottage gardens, and amazing subtropical and clifftop gardens. There is nothing quite like the Cornish coast!
Travel DatesDeparting Newark on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 bound for London, we will spend 10 days touring these fabulous gardens, returning to Newark on Saturday, June 24th, 2017.
Our itinerary of distinctive gardens is available by clicking here. (Note this is preliminary and subject to change)

While we made every effort to choose gardens that are walkable and accessible, the terrain in Cornwall can be rugged and steep.
The price for this trip is US $5,450 per person, double occupancy based on 28 travelers. In comparison to our previous trips, we have added an additional day for this trip and we will be travelling in early summer. Both changes are reflected in this price.

- Round-trip airfare between Newark and London Heathrow.
- Travel Protection Plan (trip insurance).
- A contribution to the Friends of The Frelinghuysen Arboretum.
For those interested, the cost of a single supplement is $800 per person and these accommodations are limited. If you are interested, we could suggest names of fellow single travelers for you to contact to room together.
