PHS Gold Medal Plants

Chuck Hinkle, a member of the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society (PHS) Gold Medal Plant Committee and the Garden Supervisor at Scott Arboretum of Swarthmore College, speaks about his favorite plants. His talk focuses on the winners of this prestigious award, all of which you will want to plant in your own garden.

Each year, PHS awards Gold Medal status to plants, chosen and evaluated for aesthetic appeal, performance, and hardiness within growing Zones 5-7.

This program is eligible for 1.5 Rutgers Master Gardener CEU’s.

Get ready for this year's 23rd Annual Plant Sale, Friday May 4th through Sunday May 6th.
