  • 10:00 am Renewing Your Garden, Veronica Dengler, Is your garden neglected and weary-looking? Don’t know where to start? Learn how to spot dangerous conditions in trees and how to rejuvenate overgrown and sickly looking shrubs. Veronica will share many wonderful tips on changing your old yard from an ugly duckling into a beautiful place to relax in and be proud to show off.
  • 1:00 pm Cottage Gardening Style, Diane Lattanzio. Do you dream of a lush, colorful informal garden filled with old-fashioned flowers? Then Cottage Gardening is for you! The charm of a cottage style garden is characterized by the profusion of plants, color, fragrance and a little bit of whimsy. Essential elements and simple steps to achieve the look of a cottage garden will be presented.
  • 3:00 pm Starting Your Vegetable Garden, Wing-Yee Pavlosky. Vegetable gardening is alive and well in Morris County and growing in popularity. Who doesn't want to shrink the food budget, or to live a healthier life through exercise and nutrition or to just enjoy working with Mother Nature? This talk discusses the key issues and choices in planning, planting and caring for your garden. It begins with advice on determining the best location and leads into seed selection, and takes you through all the tasks and issues for the entire growing season.
