Take a guided tour of the gardens, or stroll the grounds using your cell phone to guide you. The Tubbs’ house will be open for a rare peek at the home life of botanizing brothers, Henry and Robert Tubbs. Get a glimpse of the decorative arts in the house.

Light refreshments are provided by the Willowwood Foundation.

Annual Fungus Fest: Explore the Magical World of Fungi and Lichens.

Participants are welcome to bring in mushrooms they find in their yards to be identified by our experts. Many different interests are showcased at this event including: mushroom identification, toxicology, mushroom dyes for wool, paper making with fungus, mushroom cultivation, medicinal uses, and the ever popular cooking demonstration with exotic mushrooms from Phillips Mushroom Farm in Kennett Square.
