Everybody needs beauty as well as bread,
Places to play in and pray in,
Where nature may heal and cheer
And give strength to body and soul alike.

RAINY DAY AT THE FRELINGHUYSEN ARBORETUM

A quiet, wet day at the Arboretum, few visitors due to the weather, but still so much nature to be seen and enjoyed. Rain droplets on Ginkgo leaves and a Miscanthus flower head and bright, red berries on a Winterberry Holly (Ilex verticillata 'Red Sprite'). Fall is truly here, bringing its own brand of beauty.
