Numen is a visually stunning documentary film focusing on the healing power of plants. It counterpoints beautiful imagery of medicinal plants with thought-provoking interviews with noted doctors and herbalists. The word “numen” means the presiding spirit or divinity of a place and the film is intended for herbalists, gardeners, medical practitioners, plant lovers – and everyone concerned about human and environmental health.
The history of humanity is the history of man’s relationship with plants and Numen will inspire you to deepen your relationship with the natural world and will remind you of the healing made possible by re-embracing our place in the wider web of life.
